For over a century, the alarm industry has been selling out-dated technology at highway-robbery prices. A common practice has been to scare customers into signing long-term contracts that are chock-a-block with fine print and provisos. The microsite is concentrating on all the products and items they are providing in a unique way. Their theme colour is blue so on both websites and microsite, they used blue. Their microsite is really very interactive and very interesting to go thgrough by studying the functions of their products on each space of their home. Their microsite uses scrolling rule, where when you scroll down, youll be able to open up, zoom in and panned into a new space at home.
The 2/3:1/3 rule is not applied onto this microsite yet the website is still very appealing to visitors. But than, they applied it into their webiste. Their microsite is more to inteactivity and getting know their products than selling or showong the important matters of their company history.
This is the microsite of Coca Cola company for their ‘share a coke’ campaign. Their microsite is really very simple and informative. This microsite is mainly to promote their new idea on customizing the bottle. It really different from any other soft drink agency. White space is briliantly used in this webpage so that visitors eyes directly leads into the point. This is not an interactive website yet, but its all about promoting the idea and purchasing the bottle. According into that case, its not really user friendly and interactive which makes visitors bored easily. The layour wise, the composition was good, where the background colour of white makes eyes to move soft with their content. They didnt use much text which is good just to absorb the main purpose of the microsite. Since coca cola is known for their red and bhottle, they used it as the main content of their layout so, visitors will never have a different idea on what the website is about.
The rule of 2/3:1/3 is used into the composition of the microsite, where it indicates our eyes on which context to see first. Moreover, the whitespace is also bliantly composed to not to interuppt viewers eyes. As my suggestion, this microsite need more interactivity to attract more viewers because this still seems to be boring with out interactivity but just good layouts.

This is a Ikea microsite created by SMFB which is “A Good Day Starts Here”. This microsite is really creative and simple in the sense of visual. A story shown of a morning in a regular IKEA filled home at Norwegian. As you can see above is a screenshot of the page loading which is nicely shown in the way of sunrising while the page loads. This microsite entirely done by the background video widget as the video interects with button shown on the furnitures. By clicking the space button or pressing the spacebar on the keyboard it navigates to the product details.

According to this microsite, its really interesting to go through it. Its really very user friendly and interactive which has games to make it even interesting. This idea will make viewers to stay long in the microsite and will obviously attract more audience. The 2/3:1/3 is not appied into this microsite, maybebecause this microsite is not meant to give information to the viewers but its to viewers ti interact with the design and brand. Viewerscan interact and gain experience with the games with the AHH concept. The layouts of this microsite is all well composed and of course Coca Cola is very well known for using their colour principles brilliantlly.

This is the Microsite of the Movie Dawn of the Planet of the Apes whichy has won award. Since this site has awarded, it must be one of the best microsites in terms of design principle and content. This is a microsite called “Moment Before Dawn” . This site is for setting up the curiosity before the collision in “Dawn of the Planet of the Apes”. This microsite attracts and impress the fans in a very effective and interactive ways. This is entirely on quizzes relating the movie. It is very simple and interactive. The design is the main element which potrays the microsite very creatively. The colours used are dark which urge the curiosity and it is constantly used cleverly. Every button navigates to each specific separate pages as it open in you new tab.
The image above shows a waveleght which move accordint to the user who moves the tempo or colour. It moves faster and slower.
This image above has usen the parallax effect, where the objects move side ways following the mouse direction. The typography use are very clear and readable on the dark background. It is balanced according to user’s convinience and design principle. Every elements in the site are neatly arranged.
